Depending on your budget we offer two quality levels.
Professional: This is our most popular chip and scratch service. Damage can be a maximum of 3mm wide – the repairs will still be slightly visible at 1.2 metres (This is the Australian standard for quality cars at 1 year old).
Prestige: This repair is like micro surgery for cars. Damage up to 3mm wide is only slightly visible from 600mm. This repair includes individual colour matching. Extra coats and checking with a jeweler's loupe (12 x magnification).
Removal of Touchups: Each car is assessed individually. Some ‘touchups’ cannot be removed.
Du Magic’s Research and Development Department, since 1996, have invented our unique “Paint Gel”, “Micro Fix” and “Touchup Removal”. To our knowledge our repairs are the first paint system (other than resprays) to be passed by the inspectors for Ford, Toyota and Holden on 15 month old Rent-a-Cars (Hertz, Avis etc.)

Some cars fade once they are over 7 years old, this fading usually continues. Fading is caused by the paints colour fastness and resins. Industrial pollution and exhaust fumes can become acidic and damage paint prematurely - regular car washing is recommended to help minimize this type of damage. Most fading paints require repainting.
‘Protector Glaze’ is a thick durable shield which coats your car with an extra coating of clear giving your car paint added depth. It also contains added colour boosters to enhance the appearance.
Your car is also protected from environmental pollutants, bird and bat droppings as well as car, truck and bus exhaust fumes and acids.
'Protector Glaze' gives a deeper more intense gloss plus it contains colour brighteners for a more vibrant finish.

Industrial pollution, bird and bat droppings as well as car and bus exhaust fumes become acidic and eats into a car paintwork. Protector Glaze is an exterior clear shield that protects your car against these pollutants.
‘Protector Glaze’ was durability was tested in 2001 by a specialist testing authority “Paintings Assessments & Inspection”.
In these tests “Protector Glaze” withstood 1100 car washes, which equals over 20 years of weekly car washing!
Our founder began glaze protecting car paints in 1980. He was trained by an original ’Ming’ operator who in those days were renowned for their excellence.
In 1996 our Research and Development Department started developing the Protector Glaze technology that was a stronger formula with added colour brighteners. Protector Glaze was consequently released in 2001.
We apply Protector Glaze thoroughly by using the Methode Traditionale which involves three steps:
The ‘modern method’ being used by others is applied by wiping the protection on similar to ordinary car polishing.
Clients say Protector Glaze makes the car silky smooth therefore dust, dirt and grime washes off easily.
This thick clear coating shields the original paint. A cars’ Duco will chip more as the paint ages and hardens (i.e. the paint becomes more brittle) resulting in more chips to the cars’ Duco.
Because Protector Glaze seals in the paint, we will repair any future fine stone chips free of charge with each yearly service. This does not apply to gouged or dented paint which Protector Glaze cannot protect from.
We repair fine chips and scrapes on wheels to look almost ‘like new’ once more, at very low costs. Our repairs are nearly invisible when viewed from the normal viewing distance (around from 1.5 metres). This repair replaces full re-machining, which is much more expensive.
We have repaired fine chips and scrapes (non-structural damage) on new cars prior to delivery for premium dealers and vehicles like HSV and Suburu WRX’s — the new owners never saw our repairs.
Steel wheels on commercial vehicles are also repaired.
