Our founder, Warwick Lindsay, is a passionate lover of maintaining a car’s original appearance. In 1980 Warwick started a highly successful car detailing business.
Later, in 1989, he started Duco Magic that specialised in training other people how to repair auto paint. Having provided training to hundreds of repairers has given us insight into the intricacies and challenges of car paint repairs.
Warwick has since spent over a decade working with scientists and paint chemists, perfecting the Du Magic Paint Gel repair system. Initially he developed 2 products for professional paint repairers, the 1st released in 2001 and another in 2007.
Over the years we have scrutinised lots of paint damage in detail. Warwick and our field experts analyse our repairs with jeweller’s loupe’s (12 times magnification) to assess the most detailed improvements.
