Du Magic was established as a specialist paint repair research, development and manufacturing company. It originally made products for our professional repair company Duco Magic (Visit the Duco Magic website).
Our founder, Warwick Lindsay, is a passionate lover of maintaining a car’s original appearance. In 1980 Warwick started a highly successful car detailing business.
Later, in 1989, he started Duco Magic that specialised in training other people how to repair auto paint. Having provided training to hundreds of repairers has given us insight into the intricacies and challenges of car paint repairs.
Warwick has since spent over a decade working with scientists and paint chemists, perfecting the Du Magic Paint Gel repair system. Initially he developed 2 products for professional paint repairers, the 1st released in 2001 and another in 2007.
Over the years we have scrutinised lots of paint damage in detail. Warwick and our field experts analyse our repairs with jeweller’s loupe’s (12 times magnification) to assess the most detailed improvements.

Du Magic wholesales directly to dealer networks, car rental businesses, motor auction groups and other car centres that use Du Magic as an additional profit centre, or to use the Du Magic products for fast, easy repairs.
Our Du Magic Smart Centres (the first opened in Brisbane, Australia in September 2008) enable the public to experience the benefits of our repair system first hand. These Smart Centres are staffed with Factory Trained professionals ready and willing to help your car look great by using our advanced products.
